A visit to Rangihoua Estate makes a great highlight of any trip to Waiheke Island

Waiheke is home to countless acclaimed vineyards and boutique epicurean producers. This small island nestled in the Hauraki Gulf is the perfect getaway to indulge your senses and bask in our warm island climate.

Of course, any visit to Waiheke would be incomplete without visiting Rangihoua Estate to taste Aotearoa’s most acclaimed extra virgin olive oil.

We offer a 45 minute tour for up to 45 guests. Each tour includes an introduction to Rangihoua and our rich, exciting history, followed by a demonstration of harvesting techniques and a video about the process of turning olives into extra virgin olive oil.

At the end of the tour, you’ll join us at our Frantoio tasting room for a guided tasting of our leading extra virgin olive oils. You’ll learn the qualities that create some of the world’s best EVOO, taste it for yourself, and have the opportunity to purchase bottles to take home or give as gifts for him or her.

  • Pricing: $7 per person, minimum charge $55.
  • Our tours last around 45 minutes and we can host groups of up to 45 people per tour.
